AI and Child Safety

This page explains to parents and guardians what the AI in the Service can and cannot do, what to watch for when children use it, and how to tell us about problems.
01About AI-generated content
Learning plans, lesson conversations, exercises, and feedback in the Service are generated automatically by AI models. They are not written or checked one by one by a human teacher.
The AI can make factual mistakes, phrase things inappropriately, or pitch content too hard or too easy. This is a limitation shared by today's AI technology and cannot be removed completely. Please do not rely on it for medical, psychological, legal, or school-choice decisions.
The Service is a learning aid. It does not replace school, professional tutoring, or medical and psychological support.
02Age and supervision
- Anyone from age 3 to adult can use it
- Only people aged 18 or over can create an account
- Please supervise children while they use it
- Parents choose what is learned and the goals, and should check that the content suits the child
03What we do
- Our instructions to the AI restrict it from producing violence, sexual content, discrimination, self-harm, and other content unsuitable for children
- Lessons follow the subject and goals set by the parent and do not wander into unrelated topics
- If something a child says suggests they may be in danger, the lesson pauses and the child is encouraged to talk to a trusted adult; it does not resume until safety is confirmed
- If our main AI provider cannot respond, we switch to another provider under the same restrictions
- There are no ads and no features for contacting other users
- Unusual output is logged, investigated, and fixed
04Content the AI should not produce
We work to prevent the following. If you see any of it, tell us straight away:
- sexual content
- violent or gory content
- discrimination, bullying, or harassment
- content encouraging self-harm, suicide, or dangerous behaviour
- drugs, gambling, alcohol, smoking, or other content unsuitable for children
- content that tries to obtain an address, contact details, or other personal information
05If you find a problem
- Stop the lesson
- Email jerry@kissho.school with the learner's name, the subject, and the time. A screenshot helps us investigate faster
- We reply within 15 business days, and reports about a child's safety come first
06What parents can do
- See every conversation and record under Learning history
- Pause or resume subjects, or delete learners
- Close the account (see Account and Data Deletion)
