Children's Privacy Notice
This is a translation. If it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
The Service can be used by anyone from age 3 to adult. This notice explains to parents and guardians how we handle the personal information of learners under 18 ("your child"). Please read it together with the Privacy Policy.
01Consent from a parent or guardian
- Only an account holder aged 18 or over can add a child as a learner. Children cannot create accounts themselves.
- When creating the account, the account holder agrees to this notice, the Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy as the parent or legal guardian of any child they add.
- We keep a record of that consent (document, version, language, and time).
02What we collect about your child
- What you enter: name or nickname, display name, age, school year, speaking style, avatar text, subjects, and goals
- What lessons produce: conversations, answers, learning records, progress, and learning profiles built from these
A real name is not required. We do not collect your child's home address, school name, phone number, photos, voice, or location.
03How we use it
Your child's information is used only to make learning plans for that child, teach lessons, and show learning records. It is not used for advertising, marketing, or services for other users.
04How we protect children
- The AI tutor is set up not to ask children for their address, school name, or contact details.
- There are no ads, and no features for contacting other users (such as chat or posting).
- If something your child says suggests they may be in danger, the lesson pauses and the child is encouraged to talk to a trusted adult. That record is kept separately so safety can be checked.
- We take your child's age and development into account and put their best interests first.
05What you can do
- See every lesson's conversation and record at any time under Learning history in your account.
- Change your child's details, pause or resume subjects, and delete learners.
- Ask us, at jerry@kissho.school, to stop using, disclose, correct, or completely erase your child's information.
06AI processing and handling outside Japan
To create lessons, your child's conversations are sent to our AI model providers (China). Where data is stored and the rules in each country are described under "AI processing" and "Processors and handling outside Japan" in the Privacy Policy.
07Retention and deletion
See "Retention and deletion" in the Privacy Policy and Account and Data Deletion. To have your child's information erased completely, contact jerry@kissho.school.
